Candles must provided by the Renter and placed in fireproof containers. The Renter must assure that candle wax does not drip onto any surface. No tape or nails can be used to attach items or decorations to walls, floors, pews, doors, etc.
 
Note: The Church will be decorated for Christmas from November 1 until the end of the year.

Per public fire code, extension cords are not permitted. Power strips can be used instead.

The Renter will provide any insect control if desired at the time of the wedding (i.e. mosquito spraying). 

The Renter will make sure that ALL TRASH and disposable articles are bagged and deposited in the dumpster beside the barn. The Renter will be appropriately charged for any damages, maintenance, and cleaning beyond routine practice.

The Wolcott House Museum Complex may be open at the time of the wedding or reception and the Renter and party should respect the rights and privileges of the Museum staff, volunteers and visitors.

The Renter will ensure that ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are NOT consumed on the premises. The Museum Complex is an alcohol and drug-free facility. All buildings are non-smoking.

The Renter is responsible for ensuring proper behavior on part of guests.

The Renter is welcome to use the basement as a dressing area, provided it is left in the condition it was found.

The Renter will provide adult supervision of children at all times. Children are not permitted to roam freely the Museum Campus. The Wolcott House Museum Complex grounds are historic properties that merit respect at all times.

Please remember that our Country Church is located in a neighborhood, and that the tranquility of our River Road friends must be respected. PLEASE ALLOW ONLY ADULTS TO RING THE BELL AND KEEP TOLLING TO A PLEASANT MINIMUM.

A Historical Society staff member will be on site during weddings and rehearsals and available if any problems or questions come up.

The Church will remain open to the public touring the grounds(small groups only) up until one hour before the ceremony unless permission to restrict access earlier is obtained. The Museum Complex is open for guided tours Thursday through Sunday at 12:30 & 2:30 p.m., April through December.

A special event activity may take place on the Museum Complex ground during a rehearsal and/or wedding. In such an event, in deferent to the Renter's privacy, the Society restricts public access in and around the Church.

The rental of the Church does not include tours of the Complex.

There may be more than one wedding scheduled per day. The Society will attempt to arrange times so that there will be one hour between weddings and rehearsals.

Rental Time is four (4) hours only. This includes planning, set-up, florist deliveries, rehearsal, decorating, musician set-up, ceremony, etc. Additional time will be $50.00 per hour.
