Night at the Depot: April 18, 2026, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Step back into the golden age of rail travel at the Wolcott Heritage Center’s Night at the Depot, a special America 250 Ohio Moves event celebrating Ohio’s transportation history through lantern lit tours, immersive storytelling, and hands on activities. Visitors can explore interactive stations including a telegraph table to tap Morse code, lantern signaling demonstrations, and an artifact display featuring railroad tools, timetables, and conductor gear.
This event is free of charge.
Celebrate the beginning of a new tour season with an exclusive members only evening at the Wolcott Heritage Center. Enjoy a semi-formal reception featuring handcrafted mocktails and elegant appetizers as you mingle with fellow supporters and get a first look at what this season has in store. Join us as we raise a glass, reconnect with friends, and kick off another year of preserving and sharing Maumee’s rich history together.
Admission to this members only reception is included with any level of active membership.

Step beyond the front parlors and into the hidden spaces of the Wolcott House with our special Backstairs and Brunch Tour. This intimate experience explores the lives of the domestic servants who lived and worked behind the scenes, sharing the stories that often go untold. Following the tour, guests will gather for a relaxed brunch and conversation inspired by the history we have uncovered together.

Join us as we kick off a brand new tour season at the Wolcott Heritage Center. Opening Day features engaging guided tours that bring the stories of the Wolcott family and early Maumee to life through authentic spaces and meaningful artifacts. Step inside, explore the past, and help us begin another season of preserving and sharing our community’s history.
Saturday tours are always free to the public as a sincere thank you for the continued support and generosity of the citizens of Maumee.
