Join us for an engaging look at America's 250th anniversary commemoration and the role the Maumee Valley Historical Society is playing in this once in a generation celebration. We will explore how previous national anniversaries, including the Bicentennial of 1976, were observed locally and across the country, highlighting lessons and successes that continue to inspire us today. Finally, we will preview upcoming programs, exhibits, events, and community partnerships that will help bring Maumee's history to life as we look toward 2026 and beyond.

In partnership with Ohio Open Doors, join us for a special behind the scenes tour, The Wolcott’s in 10 Objects. This unique experience will explore ten carefully selected artifacts that tell the story of the Wolcott family, the servants who lived with them, their daily lives, their values, and their impact on Maumee. Each object serves as a window into the past, revealing how ordinary items can hold extraordinary stories.
